Week of the Young Child

The Harnett County Partnership for Children (HCPC) will celebrate young children during the month of April as part of the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) Week of the Young Child annual event.

The purpose of the Week of the Young Child is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. HCPC will extend the celebration to include the entire month of April in order to fully recognize all the individuals who are important in the lives of these young children.
