Welcome

The Harnett County Partnership for Children (HCPC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, public/private organization designed to provide programs and services for young children ages birth to five and their families in Harnett County. 

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for young children and families in Harnett County, North Carolina, through community based programs focusing on health, education and family support.

HCPC administers Smart Start funds provided by the North Carolina General Assembly and privately donated funds to support programs that benefit children during the earliest years of life. To see descriptions of our current programs, click here.

The Harnett County Health Department along with community partners are working on a Community Health Survey (CHS) which is intended to identify the current health status of the community and what needs to change to improve the health of the community. The purpose of the community health survey is to learn more about health and identify what factors that affects the well being of the community. The 2013 CHS is a collaboration with the Harnett County Health Department, Harnett Health System, Campbell University College of Pharmacy& Health Sciences and the Healthy Harnett partnership. The First 2000 Days

Our 2nd Annual 5K for the First 2000 Days is scheduled for October 12, 2013.
